Wow, I can't believe I am 32 weeks today! I have been feeling great. It seems like I can't eat as much as I used to which is probably a good thing. Today I went in for my growth scan, NST, and Dr appointment. Steve couldn't go because he was working. We forgot this was a big appointment when he said he could work. I hope he can make it to the rest of the appointments because it is nice to have an extra hand. Today I had to press the monitor against my belly the whole time, and I had to hold the clicker with the other hand. Everything looked great today. Baby girl is measuring 4 lbs. It does concern me a little bit that she is a pound smaller than Lauren, but maybe she is just going to be a little smaller. She'll probably catch up later! This week I weighed 209 (2 weeks ago I was 206.8) up 2.2 from 2 weeks ago. I guess that's not too bad for the week after Thanksgiving!
OK, so I have been reading over this post and I have realized that I really need to stop worrying. I need to pray and trust everything will be ok. One difference from this pregnancy is that my glucose has been really low for both of my GTTs. I know that I did not have gestational diabetes with Lauren, but my glucose was higher for those GTTs. Maybe my glucose is lower this time, and that is why the baby is not as big. Who knows but she is measuring right on track. If I think back everything has been beautiful with this pregnancy. Well except for the very first ultrasound, but we won't think about that. Ok so now I just need to pray and leave it in God's hands. Only about 7 weeks until we meet our little girl. I can't believe it!

28 weeks
I reached 28 weeks yesterday! We had our big appointment with growth scan. We tried to get some 3D pictures, but there was not enough fluid around the peanut's head. I was disappointed but we are planning to schedule a 3D ultrasound hopefully next week. Baby is measuring right on track. She was 2 lbs and some ounces, but I can't remember how many. At this time Lauren was 3 something. So maybe this baby will be a little smaller! It was fun watching her again. She was moving quite a bit, and the tech asked me if I drank coffee that morning. I weighed in at 205 which is not too bad considering I was 204 (I think) two weeks ago. We saw Dr. B which was a lot of fun. I found out my glucose from two weeks ago was 66! I am feeling great and am now craving Mom's coleslaw in addition to homemade salsa! Here are a few pictures. The first is from the morning that I had my echo and I was 22 weeks. The second is from yesterday evening.

27 weeks!
Wow, it has been awhile since my last post. Everything continues to go well. My fifth disease titer came back showing I have immunity, so I am much more relaxed about that. I did better with my weight gain at my 24 week appointment. I actually think that I stayed the same weight from the previous appt. I have to watch it though, because I have been doing bad lately, and so much is coming up. Halloween is next week and then Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. So a lot of eating! I am also making cinnamon rolls tonight. I made them a few weeks ago, and they turned out great! Baby has her active/inactive times. For the most part I just enjoy them when they come, and don't worry when she is quiet. It is a big change from my pregnancies with Luke and Lauren. I am just so much more relaxed this time. Of course having Lauren helps so much. There just isn't time to sit and put all of my focus on this pregnancy like I did with Luke and Lauren. She keeps me busy!
It is hard to believe that I am in or getting ready to enter the 3rd trimester! It is just crazy I know this little girl will be here before we know it! Steve and I finally talked about names a few days ago. We talked about them after we found out we were having a girl, and then we didn't discuss them anymore. Since no one reads this blog I will go ahead and list them for me. The possible ones right now are: Brooke, Kate, and Megan. Kate is short for Katherine and Elizabeth would be the middle name for each one. I am leaning toward Brooke I think that is a very pretty name. I really liked Addison for awhile, but Addison Edwards just doesn't sound right. Right now my craving of the week is homemade salsa. I made it Tuesday night and am loving it. I'll probably make some more this weekend. Other than that I am craving the usual chocolate, pizza, etc and can't wait to try PW cinnamon rolls with maple coffee frosting!
I am off tomorrow and we are going to Lauren's Halloween party at preschool. I am so excited! She is dressing up as a strawberry and is going to be so adorable. I just hope she keeps her costume on! Steve and I are dropping her off and then going out to breakfast and maybe to do a little shopping until it is time for the party. We are helping with their craft and I cut out 11 pumpkins for the kids to glue faces on. It should be so much fun!

22 Weeks!
I am 22 weeks today! I went in for a check up today and everything looks good. I have been feeling the little peanut pretty good, and I have been feeling great. I have been hungry a lot lately. Unfortunately it is catching up with me and I am gaining weight right along. I decided I need to watch it at least for the next two weeks and see if that helps some with the weight gain. I see Dr. H next time so that should help motivate me! Ha! I definitely don't want the weight gain lecture again. It is hard since I am so hungry all of the time. I found out that my 16 week GTT was 67! That is crazy, but good! I had my fifth disease titer drawn today, so hopefully that will come back showing I have immunity.

20 weeks and catching up!
Our anatomy scan was on August 23rd at 17w6d. The baby looked great. It was even measuring about 2 days ahead. They said the heart looked good and they wouldn't do an echo. I thought that this ultrasound would help me relax, but I was still concerned that something could be wrong. I think my main worry was that I had not felt any movement, and I thought I should have felt something by then. I felt a few very strong kicks from Lauren at 16 weeks. Of course I don't think I felt any regular movement until 19-20 weeks with her. Finally I started feeling movement with this baby at 18.5 weeks, and then no movement for like another week. Then on Wednesday morning at exactly 20 weeks I was lying in bed getting ready to get up and I felt some good movement. I have felt the baby moving quite a bit ever since then, and I am feeling great about things.
We had our gender reveal party on Labor Day, and it was so much fun. The cake turned out great. When I went to cut it I did it very slowly, and it was funny because you could see icing from the top of the cake pink and blue, so one minute you would think boy and then girl. When we saw the inside there was no question-GIRL! I wasn't really surprised, but Steve was! After finding out Krista said I better check the ultrasound picture. I had totally forgot about it. I checked and the cake was right! Now we are thinking of girl names. At first I didn't have many I liked, but now I have a few I really like.
I went to the doctor this past Wednesday and he said I could have an echo. He said if it was going to worry me I should just go ahead and do it. So we are scheduled for September 27th. Other than that not much is going on. The big sister continues to make us laugh and smile continuously!

17 Weeks!
I can't believe I am already 17 weeks! This pregnancy really is going by fast. It's weird though sometimes it just doesn't seem real. I think after our ultrasound this coming Tuesday and when the baby starts moving it will feel more real. I am feeling great now. I think I finally got over the morning sickness around 16 weeks. It seems to have been much worse with this baby than with Luke and Lauren, so I really have no clue what this baby is. At first I thought boy, but now I am leaning toward girl. I can't wait to find out. We are having a gender reveal party on September 4th or 5th!
I decided not to start the weekly progesterone shots at 16 weeks. I talked to Dr. Wheeler about it and she was great. She said it was totally my choice, and she didn't act like I needed to start them. I can start them when I go back at 20 weeks or not at all. I'm not sure about this. We will have to see!
I am really looking forward to our ultrasound on Tuesday (Aug. 23rd). I am so ready to see the baby again! I am praying that everything looks great. Even though our 12 week scan went great I am still a little worried. If everything looks good at this scan I should be able to relax, although I am still going to ask for an echo again. You can never have too much assurance, and I can't stand the thought of not knowing for sure that baby's heart is healthy. Just a few more days and we will get to see this little peanut again!

Trying for #3
Back in May we decided to start trying again. We had just had an ovarian cancer scare, and had almost had surgery again. Luckily we decided to wait on surgery, since we would probably just end up having another one a few years later. We thought we better start trying since we thought it was going to take a lot of time. I had just turned 37 which was definitely not in our favor. I thought we would try some on our own, which of course would be great to get pregnant the easy way. I figured we would try for 4-6 months, and if we had no luck then hopefully we would be in the position to go back to CC. I really thought that was where we were headed.
So anyways we started back in May. I didn't do any OPK tests, but I was pretty sure I knew approximately the time when I ovulated. I was pretty sure that we had pretty good timing. Then we started waiting to test. I was pretty sure that I had ovulated on May 4th which was a Wednesday, so I thought my period would start Wednesday May 18th. On that Sunday I had some cramping and bloating and thought it was probably PMS, but just maybe it could be pregnancy. Nothing had happened by Tuesday, and I was anxious to test. So I decided to go ahead and test early. I was at work and I knew nothing would show up if I used urine, so I drew my own blood. I barely got enough, but thankfully all I needed was three drops of serum. I tested and couldn't believe my eyes. It was positive! I was actually talking to Steve on the phone when I found out. I tried to remain as calm as possible, since I wanted to tell him in person. When I got home I just acted normally. I went through my normal routine. I then took a little notecard and wrote Big Sister! on it. I gave it to Lauren and told her to give it to Daddy. Well of course she thought it was a game. She went up to him and then walked away. Steve happened to peek at it as she was doing this. He got this surprised look on his face and was like really? I said Yes! I think we were both so shocked. We knew this could happen but just didn't expect it this fast or to be this easy. We are so thankful to God for another beautiful blessing!
