Our Little Princess

Last week Lauren and I had a little photo shoot at Mom and Dad's house. Lauren wore her princess dress and was absolutely darling! Despite it being late in the evening I think we got some pretty good shots!

We are getting geared up for Thanksgiving in two days! Hopefully we will have lots of fun and have lots of pictures to post!

Lauren lately

Just a quick post to remember some of the things you love lately. I was off last Friday, and I decided to let you watch Toy Story for the first time. You loved it! You have a Woody doll at Nana's house and you love him. You also seem to be really into princesses right now. You have been looking at them in toy catalogs and saying you want them.

On another note....Kate got her first big boo boo yesterday (11/4/12). You were on the sofa watching Toy Story for about the hundredth time and Kate was walking around the coffee table. I went into the kitchen to get a snack and Kate fell. I think she had a toy in her mouth and that is what she hit herself with. It was awful-she was screaming and when I picked her up she had blood coming out of her mouth. I freaked out and lost it. I was carrying her around and crying. I felt so guilty. It turned out that it was just her frenulum and nothing serious. None the less it was a good lesson learned.

Your first birthday party!

Last Sunday on October 22nd we went to one of your first birthday parties! The party was for Ben from your class, and we had a great time. You were talking about the hayride we went on for days. You even got to pick out your own pumpkin from the "pumpkin patch" and then go decorate it. We got to watch you hit a pinata. It was pretty funny watching you and all of your friends try to hit the pinata. Every time you hit it a piece of candy would come out and you would pick it up! I made the mistake of showing you the cake before they cut it, and you sneaked in and got some icing! Here are some pictures from the party-we had a great time!
